Seeing Past the Glamour of Life

The Lord writes:

What has kept you?

What has kept you bound and not free?

How great it would be and how great it is,

to throw off all that binds you, all the ancient

ancestral energies that hold you in place, and

to be Free to join me in a Pure Place.

Look up and receive my Pure Light, my Pure Flame,

that will loosen all that binds you,

and show you the way Home.

One of the trappings of fallen energies that keeps you from BEING FREE, in industrialized societies, is the idolatry of Glamour. Our attention is placed upon that which appeals to the lower senses of our form and outward appearances. These Glamours fall into three main categories, People/Places or Events, Things/material possessions, and Thought Forms or Beliefs.

Things or material possessions seems fairly self explanatory.

How much money is spent on things to improve the way we appear to others, from exercise equipment, to clothes, health or beauty aids, and jewelry, just to name a few? Placing our sense of value in the hands of another based on something exterior instead of interior or spirit based.

How much is spent on toys to entertain us or electronic equipment to distract us, entertain us, and 'keep us connected' to others. Why do we have such a need for outside stimulation like cell phones and hand held games, etc.? How rare are the times of simply appreciating the quiet, the silence where Spirit/God speaks or we can hear the sounds of nature and its beauty? How attached are we to those things that keep us entertained but can cause us to miss the Voice of God within us speaking, or the signs of Spirit that appear around us constantly to guide us along our path?

When did watching a show, a video game, a movie of sex and violence or humor that comes at the expensive of another take the place of seeking God and sharing spiritually of the beauty of the Divine with others ? When did we loose the ability for our imagination to create our world of adventure? When did mechanical devices become more enjoyable than being in nature exploring life? When did we stop the flow of Spirit that guides us into creating and inventing new things through inspiration and imagination?

How much do we spend on things for our homes in order to have what another does? When did having larger homes and more amentities which ultimately can come to own us through the bondage of debt become more important than family and God? The more things we own the more maintenance and time is required.

This does not mean that having possessions is wrong, it is not, God denies us not. God wants to Bless us with all manner of good things. It is when they become the Focus and center of our lives that the problem arises.

Pro Family

When there is a shift or change

from being pro business to pro family,

from the self or individual family,

to the one family,

then we will see Truth flourish,

and real justice and peace.

We are being convinced through advertising that we need things and that they are essential to our happiness, when in reality they are merely distractions used to fill the void within us, that only the Divine Presence is to fill. They trap our attention unto what another wants us to see or do. They allow us to avoid the facing the choices needed to make spiritual progress.

It is not the possession of things that is the problem but the OBSESSION ones have to their bringing us happiness and acceptance. We have placed our attention upon them instead of God. They possess us and become the walls that keep us trapped and bound from experiencing TRUE SPIRITUAL FREEDOM, they are our god of the moment.

That upon which we place our attention is our god -even if it is only for an instant.

The Lord says:

Believe in Me

What do you believe in?

For that is your source.

Believe in Me.

People and places may not be quite as self evident as a source of glamour. Think about your family and friends and how they influence the way in which you live, think, believe, and act throughout your life. It is apparent in how we need or desire to be accepted, to fit in to the standards of society. Think of how their views and beliefs have affected yours and they way you live your life and what you believe is of value and worth. We are influenced in our lives by co-workers to meet professional standards and expectations. We have a need or desire fit into professional cliques in order to be accepted or move upward.

Do you allow others to determine your personal worth, to be the reflection upon which you determine your self worth, rather than living your life according to your Inner Truth of the Divine? Do people and what they think about you mean more than what you know is the Truth of God? Would you put them first before God?

Think about how much time and effort you place upon its appearance, and the things you have within and without. Do you own your home or does it own you? Do you yearn to be somewhere else, some idealistic place such as where you were born, a favorite vacation spot, or dream of a specific event or time in your life? Do these times, events or places take your attention or energy in dreaming of them or feeling frustrated because you are where you are at the moment and not there? Do you dream of the past or the future instead of living in the Present? Do you spend as much time thinking of God, helping and serving the Light in all life according to Divine Will? Do you spend time thinking about that which is within you that keeps your separate from God, that which needs purifying and perfecting? Do you spend as much time doing this as you do dreaming of people, places and things?

Then there is the Glamour of thought forms and beliefs which may not be so self evident. What would examples of these be? Ego, Self Will, gluttony, pride, anger, envy, lust , greed, self-pity, fear, guilt, sloth are a few examples of these thought forms. A few of these beliefs include that there is any war that is holy, or God punishes us and we should fear God, or that God is a Being out in the Heavens somewhere. These are just a few of the misguided beliefs given to us by this fallen paradigm.

The guiding light of this writing is to show us that ANYTHING that takes our attention and becomes, even for an instant, more important to us than God is our god of the moment. All of these things are Glamour designed by the fallen energies to keep us trapped in the illusion of self gratification, to fill that empty void within us where only God can exist to set us FREE. It is only when we place our attention first upon God and our Spiritual transformation into Sons and Daughters that we find True Freedom. Then God becomes our Source and God Blesses us with those things that we once sought first, but which now are merely tools to live in the world and aid in our service to the Divine.

It is so easy to be fooled, it can come in the form of a thirst and desire for knowledge, even if that thirst is for more knowledge and understanding of God. This was a big trap for me. That the knowledge became more important than the Being, and distracted me for a while from obtaining that which I desired most.

This is one of the most important steps in the Freedom Flame Program, to first acknowledge the presence of these fallen thought forms of Glamour within us and to truly want to be free of them. We need to offer them to God to be removed or transformed and know that it be so. Remember that Discernment is our part in being aware so that we do not fall back into their glamorous temptations when Free. We need to always be discerning, for any fallen energy or thought form might have multiple layers around us and within our genetic makeup that need to be released.

We should not feel as if we failed if some aspect we thought we had previously released and transformed reappears in our lives. We need to be aware that often fallen energies can come like layers of an onion, appearing on more than one level or layer of our being in an altered form, having come from a differing experience or having been embedded with a differing thought form or emotion in our genetic make up. We also need to be sure that we don't become complacent for the fallen energies in control of earths current paradigm do not want us to be free and search for any kinks in our armor of divine light and love, to influence us into fallen thoughts and acts, especially through our emotional and mental bodies, and through our relationships.

LET THY EYE BE SINGULAR. Move, read, think, feel, seek, believe, act only from the Heart in Union with The Divine Presence, where our Soul can guide us, and we cannot be trapped, or fooled by the Glamour and its Illusions. There in the Heart we are one with the Lord and in that Union all life is lifted up.

See past the Glamour and Be Free.
